Craftsmanship behind two brands.

House of Lendfers is the home of Oscar Luxury and Monroe Life: handmade scented candles and natural rugs, designed in Knokke-Heist and crafted by hand in our atelier in Brecht and in Europe. We supply interior shops, concept stores, interior architects, companies and hospitality businesses.

The house

From the floor to the flame.

Monroe Life started in 2015 as the Belgian pioneer in handmade patchwork rugs from Icelandic sheepskins. In 2018 its sister brand Oscar Luxury followed: characterful, handmade candles from our own atelier in Brecht. Every design comes from Marc Lendfers, managing director of Lendfers BV.

HandmadeNo mass production: every candle is poured and finished by hand, every rug is assembled by hand.
NaturalEcologically tanned sheepskins without plastics, mouth-blown glass, concrete and ceramic, and our own soy wax blend.
RecognisableYou recognise a genuine Monroe by the golden thread on the back — our signature. Every Oscar is an object that gets a second life after burning.

Scented candles from our atelier in Brecht

Mouth-blown glass barrels and pots, concrete indoor and outdoor candles, outdoor candles that carry an entire terrace and the Knokke-le-Zoute collection in soy wax with a wooden wick. For every Knokke-le-Zoute candle there is a refill in the same fragrance, so the glass stays on your customer’s table and you build recurring revenue.

Handmade patchwork rugs from 100% Icelandic sheepskins in four standard sizes, made to measure on request; single sheepskins and Argentine cowhides. Warm, natural and free of plastics — each piece unique in its pattern, carefully crafted in Europe.

From €250 excl. VAT, both brands in one order. Free delivery from €800 excl. VAT in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Elsewhere in the EU we pay half the shipping from €1,000 excl. VAT and all of it from €2,500, in both cases up to €250.
