Off-white is white with character — a calm base colour shot through with soft taupe shades, which makes the rug look richer and more vibrant than a pure white ever could. Our off-white rugs are assembled by hand from ecologically tanned Icelandic sheepskins, joined by hand with golden decorative thread. The natural variations in tone give the patchwork technique extra depth. Available in 3 standard lengths or made to measure. Because every fleece is naturally unique, you always receive an individual piece with slight variations in colour and texture — no two Monroes are identical.

On the back of every rug you will find our golden thread — the signature by which you recognise a genuine Monroe, and the proof of the strongest stitching method in our craft.

Choose your variant

With long hair — 3 lengths: the longer hair together with two shorter-clipped variants, for a total of 3 different lengths. Lush, warm and full of character. The most popular choice for large spaces.

Without long hair — 3 lengths: three different wool lengths, but without the longest hair. Sleeker, more modern and slightly easier to maintain. Perfect for those who prefer a cleaner look.
