Our colored patchwork rugs are crafted from ecologically tanned Icelandic sheepskins in warm, earthy tones. The color variations—from natural to taupe to deeper shades—are the result of the patchwork process, in which each hide retains its own character. Because every hide is unique in hue and texture, you will always receive a one-of-a-kind piece that differs slightly from the product photos. That is exactly what makes this rug so special.

On the back of each rug is our gold thread—the signature that lets you recognize a genuine Monroe.
